Oğuz ÖZYARAL

He was born on July 22, 1956 in Istanbul.

He completed his language education in Istanbul University Faculty of Pharmacy in 1979.

He completed his "Business Economics Specialization" in Istanbul University Institute of Business Economics in 1988.

He completed his master's degree in microbiology at Marmara University Health Sciences Institute Microbiology Department in 1989 and was honored with high success by the CBS Institute of the Royal Netherlands Academies.

In the same year, he completed his doctorate studies in Istanbul University Health Sciences Institute Microbiology Department and received the title of "Pharmaceutical Microbiology Doctor".

He was promoted to University Associate Professorship in the field of "General Microbiology" in April 2012 by YÖK, and to Professorship in Health Sciences and Health Management in 2017.

He has 278 scientific studies and articles published on national and international platforms, chapters in 16 books and 1 English and 3 Turkish printed books. Sectoral and academic fields of study are on Microbiology, Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene, and Public Health.

He worked as a program moderator and presenter in various National Radio and television channels.

He held administrative positions such as the Dean of University Students, the Director of Vocational Schools, the Department of Pharmaceutical Microbiology of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Heads of the Department of Public Health, and the university senator. He is still working as the vice-rector at Istanbul Rumeli University.
